Eligibility Requirements Applicants to BITSAT 2012 must have passed in Intermediate / 12th examination of 10+2 pattern with Physics, Chemistry and Maths securing at least 80 percent marks in aggregate and not less than 60 percent in each of these. Those appearing their second Inter / 10+2 exams in 2012 and passed in 2011 only eligible to appear for BITSAT 2012.
Scheme of the Examination: BITSAT-2012 consist of 4 parts for 150 marks in total as described below:
Part I : Physics : 40 questions
Part II : Chemistry : 40 questions
Part III : (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning : 15 + 10 questions
Part IV : Mathematics : 45 questions.
There will be negative marking for wrong answers.
Interested candidates can apply online through BITSAT 2012 website www.bitsadmission.com. BITSAT 2012 fee is Rs. 1600 (Rs. 1100 for female candidates). Options for payment of fee is described on the website.
