NTPC Diploma Trainee Syllabus Question Papers 2013 Exam Pattern : 1. National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) is going to conduct the Diploma Trainees exam on 17th November, 2013 (Sunday). The Diploma Trainee Test consists of two parts. Part-I is Knowledge Test consisting of 70 MCQ of respective discipline. Part-II is Aptitude Test consisting of 50 MCQ on English, Quantitative aptitude & Reasoning.

2. For filling up the 236 vacancies of Diploma Trainees Posts, NTPC has issued recruitment notification . Hence all the candidates who are eligible can apply online on or before 10th Sept, 2013. NTPC India invites applications from several talented students across the world.

3. Written Test Details :  
The All India Test is going to be conducted on 17th November 2013 (Sunday). Candidates can take this test in Hindi or English, but they must mention their choice of language while applying for the post itself. The language cannot be changed subsequently, so candidates be alert.

4. The test is going to be conducted in two parts. Part-I is Knowledge Test which consists of 70 multiple-choice questions of respective discipline. Part-II is Aptitude Test with 50 multiple-choice questions on English, quantitative aptitude & Reasoning. There is negative marking where, 1/4th mark is deducted for each wrong / multiple answered question.


5. Mode of Selection : Selection of a candidate will be done based on his/her performance in written test & Interview.

6. Pay Scale : All the candidates who are selected need to undergo training for 1 year at various NTPC sites. All these candidates will be offered Rs.15,500/- per month as consolidated stipend. However after training,  pay scale of Rs. 15500-3%-34500/- (W7 grade) will be paid to the candidates.
