CLAT Exam Syllabus, Paper Pattern 2014 Exam Eligibility Criteria 2014 : 1. Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an All India entrance examination held for admission into 14 National Law Schools / Universities for undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programmes (LL.B and LL.M) starting from session 2014. The CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) 2014 is going to be held on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 03.00 PM to 05.00 PM.  All the candidates who are eligible and interested can apply online before the last date. Registration details will be announced shortly.

3. Eligibility Details of UG Programmes

• Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from an authorized board with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) aggregate.
• Students who are studying their 12th are also eligible
• General/OBC candidates should be below 20 years of age and SC/ST /disabled persons should be below 22 years  as on July 01, 2014.

4. Eligibility Details of  PG Programmes : Candidates must hold LL.B/B.L degree or an equivalent degree with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) marks. Aspirants going to appear for their final year/sem degree examination are also eligible.

5. Exam Paper Pattern for UG 

• Duration- 2 hours
• Total Marks- 200
• 200 multiple choice ques.

 UG Exam Paper Pattern 

• Duration of the exam is 2 hours
• Total Marks for which the exam is held is 200
• Question Paper consists of 100 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each
• There will be 10 short questions which carries 10 marks each.

• GK and Current affairs
• Elementary Maths
• Legal Aptitude
• Logical reasoning

7. PG Syllabus

• Relating to different subject areas, namely,
• Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Criminal Law,
• Constitutional Law and Legal Theory
