DIETCET D.Ed Notification 2012 Results and Counseling Schedule DIETCET is an entrance examination conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh for admission to D.Ed (Diploma in Education) course in DIET Colleges in AP. The APSCHE has announced DIETCET 2012 Notification and Examination dates. The duration of the course is two years. The admission to D.Ed for the year 2012-14 will be through DIECET 2012 results and counseling. Districts Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) are called as DIETs. Candidates qualified in D.Ed. are eligible for teacher jobs in Government Primary Schools in the state of Andhra Pradesh. They can appear for D.Sc. exam conducted by the Government for teachers recruitment. Following are details of eligibility, application procedure, DIETCET 2012 results and counseling schedule:

Educational Qualifications and Eligibility for DIETCET 2012: The candidates must have passed in Intermediate Examination or 10+2 with minimum 45 percent marks. 40 percent marks are enough for SC, ST and PWD Students. Those candidates studying Intermediate vocational courses in various groups are not eligible for the DIETCET 2012 entrance Examination. Those students appearing for final year Intermediate examinations in 2012 are also eligible to apply for DIETCET 2012. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on the date prescribed in the notification.
Application Procedure: Interested candidates can obtain DIET CET 2011 application forms from all Head post offices in the state along with e-seva centers across AP. Application fee is Rs.200. Completed applications along with required copies of certificates should be sent to 'Convenor, DIETCET- 2012, Office of Commissioner and Director of School Education, Beside Telephone Bhavan, Saifabad, Hyderabad- 500004. All the details of the entrance test will be available in instruction booklet available with application. Old Question papers / previous DIETCET papers will also be made available here very soon. The Department of School Education will announced DIETCET 2012 Results around will be announced around May third week 2012. The DIETCET Counseling schedule also will be released on the day of announcement of results. Counseling will be usually held in June - July 2012.
