ECET Counseling 2014 : For the admission of diploma holders in 2nd year of B.Tech JNT University, Hyderabad is going to conduct Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) in the last week of May this year; ECET Counseling 2014 will be held after the completion of the exam, where in all the eligible candidates will be invited for engineering admissions.

ECET 2012 Final Phase Web Counseling Notification - www.apecet.nic.in : 1.Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Hyderabad has issued ECET 2012 Second and final phase counseling notification. The ECET 2012 qualified candidates and who have participated and not participated in 1st phase of counseling can take part in the web based final phase counseling.

2.The final counseling is scheduled to be held on 29th July and 30th July 2012. For more details, you can visit apecet.nic.in . Following candidates can exercise web options using old username and passwords:

a) Candidates those secured seats but not interested to join in allotted college / course.
b) Those who have not secured seats so far in any college.
c) Candidates who have not exercised web options till the date.
d) Candidates who have secured a seat, reported in the allotted college and aspiring for a better option.
e) Candidates who have reported or not reported but cancelled their 1st Phase seat allotment.

The Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET 2012) for diploma holders will be held on 24th May 2012. The Results of ECET 2012 will be declared on 2nd June 2012. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUK) Kakinada was entrusted to conduct ECET 2012. The JNTUK has announced that it will be releasing the ECET 2012 notification on 17th February 2012. All the details of the examination such as nature of the exam, question paper, online application procedure (if any), fee payment, syllabus and colleges will be released along with official ECET 2012 notification.
The syllabus for ECET 2012 will be that of 2005 and 2009 and the applications would be sold through select branches of the post offices and that of Andhra Bank. The sale of applications for ECET 2012 will commence on 18th February, the next day of release of notification. Candidates may also provided with the facility of downloading application froms from the JNTUK website www.jntuk.edu.in .

Filled in application forms should be sent to the Convener, ECET 2012, JNTUK, Kakinada by post. Those who wish to handover the application forms in person can submit them at JNTU Kakinada or JNTU Hyderabad. It is estimated that about 30000 students will appear for ECET 2012. Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders (ECET 2011) will be held on the 20th of May. ECET 2011 notification was released on the 16th of February. ECET test date was finalized by APSCHE. Kukatpally (JNTUH) - ECET 2011 conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. For the second year of graduate engineering and academic year 2011-12 in all the private engineering and pharmacy colleges of pharmacy courses in the ECET , conducted by the rankings. This lateral entry / entrance system and all of the colleges is 10 percent of the seats reserved for candidates of the Diploma. Diploma holders, B.Sc. Candidates with (Math) degree are eligible for ECET. 50 percent of candidates for the qualifying examination marks (45 per cent reserved for the candidates) have to be secured.

ECET 2011 to qualify for the counseling of candidates eligible to get into their rankings based on the following courses:
1. In the second year B.E. / B. Tech. (Regular) courses
2. The first year B.E. / B. Tech. University Engineering Colleges
3. All universities and unaided private colleges in the second year of B. Pharmacy (regular) courses.

Eligibility requirements: Candidates with Diploma in the following engineering disciplines are eligible to apply for ECET:

Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders (ECET 2011) will be held on the 20th of May 2011. ECET 2011 notification was released on the 16th of February 2011. ECET 2011 test date was finalized by APSCHE. Kukatpally (JNTUH) - ECET 2011 conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
