IIST Admission 2014 Test Application Form www.iist.ac.in B.Tech Notification : 1. The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) has released admission notification 2014 Application Form for B.Tech programs for filling up of 156 seats. All the candidates who wish to apply must qualify in JEE Main 2014 and JEE Advanced 2014 to be eligible for admissions to the B.Tech programmes at the IIST. All the candidates must apply online in May 2014

3. IIST B.Tech 2014 Eligibility Details
Nationality - Applicant should be a citizen of India

Age limitation - Applicant should born on or after October 1, 1989 (SC/ST and PD applicants should have born on or after October 1, 1984).
The date of birth as recorded in the high school/first Board /or its equivalent is accepted.

Academic Details : Aspirants must have successfully done their 10+2 or equivalent with at least  70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). SC/ST/PD should secure at least 60% marks.

4. Selection Process - Applicants should appear for JEE Main 2014 held by CBSE and qualify to attend this JEE Advanced 2014 held by IITs.

5. Minimum prescribed category-wise marks which candidates must secure in JEE (Advanced)-2014 are given below.

General candidates: At least 20% marks in aggregate and a at least 5% marks in each of the 3 subjects of PCM. 
OBC-NCL aspirants: At least 18% marks in aggregate and 4.5% marks in each of the 3 subjects of PCM. 
SC / ST & Persons with Disabilities Person: At least 10% marks in aggregate and at least 2.5% marks in each of the 3 subjects (PCM).
