RAS New Pattern Syllabus 2014 Pre Main in Hindi PDF Exam Scheme : 1. Rajasthan State Subordinate Services (RAS) 2014 is conducted by Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). RAS 2014 Examination is conducted in two successive stages - (i) Preliminary Examination, and (ii) Main Examination . All the applicants who are applying for RPSC RAS 2014 Exam should study according to the New Pattern syllabus in order to get good score. Scheme of examination of RAS with New Pattern Syllabus 2014 is mention below.
1. Scheme of examination :
This Combined Competitive Examination will be conducted in two successive stages-
I. Preliminary Examination, and
II. Main Examination
I. Preliminary examination : The Preliminary Examination consists of a paper on the specified subject and the questions will be objective type carrying 200 marks. This test iss basically a screening test and it is at Bachelor's Degree Level standard. The marks secured by the candidates in the Preliminary Examination who have qualified for admission to Main Examination is not counted for finding their final order of merit.

Note : Questions Paper (For Preliminary examination) Pattern-
A. Question Paper comprises of 150 Questions.
B. All the questions in the paper carries equal marks.
C. There is Negative Marking, 1/3 part of mark(s) of a question will be deducted for every wrong answer.
II. Main examination :
A. The total number of applicants to be admitted for the Main Examination will be 15 times the total number of vacancies (category wise) to be admitted in the year in the different Services and posts but in the said range all those candidates who secure the same percentage of marks as may be fixed by the Commission for any lower will be admitted to the Main Examination.
B. The written examination comprises of the following four papers that are descriptive/analytical. A candidate should take all the papers given below which consists of question paper in brief,descriptive type questions and medium long answer. Examination is for 3 hours and the standard of General Hindi and General English.

2. Personality and viva-voice Examination : Once the candidate qualifies in written test of the Main Examination that is if he/she scores more than it is fixed by the Commission, they will be called interview for a personality test that carries 100 marks.
3. RAS Exam 2014 General Instructions:
A. Candidates need to answer all the papers either in English or in Hindi, they will not be allowed to answer some questions in English and rest in Hindi unless they are mentioned to do so.
B. Deduction of marks will be done if a candidate's handwriting isn't legible.
c. Credit is given for effective, orderly and exact expression combined with due economy of words in all subjects of exam.
