3. Eligibility Criteria for GSECL Recruitment :

Educational Qualification : Applicant must have successfully done Full Time regular Bachelor's degree in Engineering i.e B.E/B.Tech in Electrical , Mechanical , C & I  and civil Engineering from a recognized University with 60% marks for unreserved and 55 % for reserved candidates.

Age Limit : Candidate must be below 30 yrs  of age.

Pay Scale
1. For 1st year : Rs. 18,000 
2. For 2nd yr : Rs. 20,000
3. After 2 yrs of satisfactory service , 
Pay Scale : Rs. 17,300 - 38,610/-.

4. Selection process : Candidates will be selected based on their GATE 2015 Score card and Personal Interview .

5. How to Apply : Visit the official website www.gsecl.in and online from 15th March, 2015 to 15th April, 2015. Once the submission of Online Application is done, send hard copy of Application form along with necessary documents to the GSECL main address.

GATE entrance test 2014, GATE results 2014 will be declared by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Depending on the rank and the cut off marks particular candidate will get admission in prestigious colleges like NIT’s, IIT’s, DCE, NSIT etc. Approximately 12 lakhs candidates had taken this Graduate Aptitude Test in this academic year all over India. Soon after publishing the GATE 2014 results, merit candidates have to participate in counselling process where the dedicated notification will be announced soon on on major newspapers as well as in their official website of GATE 2014. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination. This exam is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IIT's (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee.

GATE score is calculated using a specific formula, where the marks obtained by the candidate, average of marks of all candidates in that paper, standard deviation of marks of all candidates in that paper, global average of marks of all candidates in last 2 years and the standard deviation (global) of marks of all candidates in last 2 years are considered. Thereafter if the value calculated by the formula is less than zero then the GATE score is set to zero and the GATE score is set to 1000 if the value calculated by the formula is more than 1000.
